Who is Matangi?


Matangi is the ninth Mahavidya.


Matangi relates to the Hindu deity, the deity of knowledge and therefore the consort of Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe.

Shiva told the attractive maiden, "Those who repeat your mantra and worship you, their activities will be fruitful & will be able to control their enemies and obtain the objects of their desires. After that, this maid was known as UCCISHTHA-MATANGINI.  She is the one that gives all the blessings.
