ॐ हिरण्यवर्णां हरिणीं सुवर्णरजतस्रजाम्।
चन्द्रां हिरण्मयीं लक्ष्मीं जातवेदो म आवह।

हिरण्मयीम्: स्वर्णमयी आभा से युक्त।

लक्ष्मीम्: धन, ऐश्वर्य और सुख की अधिष्ठात्री देवी।

जातवेदो: अग्निदेव का दूसरा नाम (जो सब कुछ जानता है)।

म आवह: हमारे पास लाएँ, अवतरित करें।
यह मंत्र देवी लक्ष्मी का आह्वान करता है।
देवी लक्ष्मी का स्वरूप स्वर्ण के समान दैदीप्यमान (तेजस्वी) है। वे हरिण (मृग) के समान कोमल और मन को मोह लेने वाली हैं। वे सोने और चाँदी की मालाओं से अलंकृत रहती हैं। चंद्रमा की तरह उनका तेज शीतल और शांति देने वाला है। वे सोने जैसी सुनहरी आभा से युक्त हैं।
साधक (भक्त) अग्निदेव से प्रार्थना करता है कि वे उस लक्ष्मी देवी को हमारे पास लाएँ, ताकि हमारा जीवन ऐश्वर्य और शांति से परिपूर्ण हो जाए।
Oṃ: The Supreme Brahman, who is boundless consciousness.
Hiranyavarṇām: Having a golden radiance for a form.
Hariṇīm: Gentle and soft as a deer.
Suvarṇarajatasrajām: Adorned with beautiful garlands of gold and silver.
Candrām: Calm and soothing like the moon.
Hiraṇmayīm: Filled with gold radiance.
Lakṣmīm: The goddess presiding over wealth, prosperity, and pleasure.
Jātavedo: Another name for Agnideva, the all-knowing one.
Ma Āvaha: Conjure her to come to us; manifest.
This is an invocation of Goddess Lakshmi. Her form shines with the radiance of gold. She is soft and alluring, like a deer. She is adorned with garlands of gold and silver. Her moon-like radiance is cool and calming. The sheen of gold illuminates her appearance.
The practitioner (devotee) prays to Agnideva to have that Lakshmi Goddess brought unto him, so that his life may be full of splendour and tranquillity.
